The saying β€œa picture is worth a thousand words” resonated tremendously with me as a child, and for as long as I can remember. When I was 12, I was given a beat up Polaroid camera and became the official family photographer later that day. Every trip, outing and occasion with family and friends over the years has been recorded in some way, and most times at least one person has been very thankful for it.

The best part about being a bookworm as a kid was the appreciation it gave me for language and communication in general. The ability to touch people through time and space using something most people take for granted was a romantic idea to me even back then. Now that I write often enough myself to entertain my own curiosities, the biggest reward of it all is being able to help other people share their message with the world.
